Advocating on behalf of our members is of primary importance for the board and staff of the Association. NYSHTA's legislative efforts take a multi-faceted approach which include helping legislators understand the particular challenges that the hospitality and tourism industries face. 

NYSHTA provides legislative updates and lobbying in Albany to prevent legislation that could jeopardize your financial recovery.

Yearly lobby day events are held in Albany to help to pave the way for members and industry partners to reach local and state legislators directly. ​
