​WHO WE ARE

The New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSHTA), founded in 1887, is the oldest state lodging association in the country. Originally established to represent New York’s lodging industry, NYSHTA now includes members from nearly every segment of the tourism sector.

We provide valuable programs and services to more than 1,000 industry members. NYSHTA advocates for its members by serving as their legislative voice, working tirelessly to protect their interests before state government.
WHAT WE DO
​We are a dynamic voice representing the hospitality and tourism industry in Albany, speaking out on issues affecting our member businesses.
NYSHTA holds several yearly events where you can network with industry peers and exchange thoughts and ideas for the purpose of professional development.
​NYSHTA provides in-person and virtual educational resources to keep members informed and up-to-date on compliance requirements.
