ICE Raids & Gov. Visits Webinar

ICE Raids & Government Visits Webinar  |  Sept. 16, 2025
NYSHTA co-hosted a webinar on September 17 alongside the Pabian Law and I Ski NY (SANY) that offered hospitality leaders an in-depth look at what they can do to prepare for ICE Raids & Government Visits.

In today’s complex enforcement environment, it’s crucial for hospitality organizations to understand their rights and responsibilities when it comes to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other immigration enforcement activities. Whether your organization employs visa and immigrant workers, operates in a high-risk area, or is simply concerned about preparedness, this webinar ensured that attendees are equipped  with essential knowledge to protect their organization, employees, and guests.

Attorney Keith Pabian, Founding Partner of Pabian Law, hosted a practical discussion on what to do before, during, and after an ICE raid and other government immigration actions take place at or near your business. Keith also discussed immigration options for hospitality organizations in today’s political climate.

See the webinar recording below (with option to download).

Topics of Discussion:
  • Immigration options for hospitality organizations to properly staff in today’s political environment
  • Legal rights of senior leaders and managers during workplace encounters with ICE and other government agencies
  • What government agencies can and cannot do when entering your premises
  • Best practices for documenting interactions and protecting sensitive business records
  • How to create an ICE response plan for your staff
  • Supporting your team and community in the aftermath of an enforcement action
