2006 Tourism Showcase Highlights

The Tourism Industry Coaltion of New York State (TIC) - 19 organizations, all
with New York State tourism promotion as a common denominator - hosted a successful
Tourism
Showcase
at
the
Empire
State
Plaza
Convention
Center
on
Tuesday,
March
14,
2006.
State legislators, tourism professionals, and tourism vendors attended the
annual event, where the topic was the importance of tourism funding and its
impact on the state’s economy.
Among the distinguished speakers at the showcase were Senator Mary Lou Rath;
Assemblyman Joseph D. Morelle, Chairman of the Assembly’s
Tourism, Arts & Sports
Development Committee and Daniel C.
Murphy, NYSH&TA President.
