Lodging Management Program

Pulling It All Together

NYSH&TA has partnered with the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute to introduce the industry’s own Lodging Management Program (LMP). Intended to link 11th and 12th grade students, schools, and workplaces, the LMP’s curriculum integrates academic classroom learning with real-work experiences needed to take advantage of the boundless opportunities in all major departments of lodging industry.

The LMP National Competition is a chance for high school students across the country to compete against each other in teams. Students are tested on their knowledge of the lodging industry and present case studies to panels of judges. Click Here to view highlights from the 2007 National Competition.
