NYSH&TA has been asked once again to partner with I LOVE
NEW YORK to promote a summer marketing campaign to our
lodging members.
The marketing campaign, themed "GO, STAY, and PLAY",
encourages the leisure traveler to GO on vacation, STAY at a
New York State property and PLAY outdoors!
The promotion calls for three-night packages (stay 2 nights get
the 3rd night FREE). You can choose mid-week (Sun.- Thur )
and/or weekend (Fri.-Sat.). The campaign will run from
June 2 - Sept. 1.
Marketing will include paid advertising, public relations,
e-marketing, and partner networking. Newspaper and online
advertising targeting New York City, Ontario and neighboring
states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio will begin the first
week of June and run through mid August. Consumers will
be driven to a website where properties will be showcased.
I LOVE NEW YORK hopes this builds on the success of the pilot
promotion "Cozy Inns" this past winter. Participants in that
program saw hundreds of views of their dedicated page and
click-throughs to their website. Additionally the promotion
boosted sales an estimated 5% in a typically low season. We have
great expectations to see these numbers grow with this summer
promotion.
The deadline to be a part of this exclusive marketing
opportunity is Friday, April 18, 2008.
